Optimize Body Text
Your body text is the most important part of your website to the search engines. You should try to have at least 300 words per page of unique body text for each page of your website. Whether you are explaining a product/service, letting people know more about your company or simply explaining something, you should always try and keep your keyword density for your targeted keywords high.

Header Tags are very important today. Each paragraph that you write should have a small heading that would describe the paragraph you are writing about. This header should be keyword rich and focused on the page you are on. You would write the header tag using <H1> - <H6> tags. The smallest font tag is <H6> and the largest font is the <H1> tag.</H1>
You should always try to emphasize words that you are targeting on each page. Such as if you were targeting the keywords 'Travel, Vacations, PEI, Tours, Bird Watching', you would place tags such as these throughout your site. <b>, <u>, <i>, <strong> or a larger font size <font size=''>. When writing copy for the page, you should always try to include these keywords in your sentences. Make sure when writing this copy, that it sounds informative and not too repetitive. This will only hurt your efforts, for when people view the page, they will leave as soon as they read the first line. Try to break up your pages into categories and use hyperlinks to navigate to different parts of the page. You can use the code <a name='hunting'>Hunting</a>to name certain keywords and then use the code <a href='#hunting'>Hunting in Newfoundland to link to that particular spot on the page.
Hyperlinks are a major factor in Search Engine Optimization and therefore should be implemented into your body text. You should try and link pages throughout your site by using the keywords that are associated with that page. Say you have a 'Newfoundland Hunting' page that describes accommodations, tour guides and locations. You should try to link to this page in your body text on as many internal pages as you can, using different keyword rich sentences. Sentences like 'Hunting in Newfoundland', 'Hunting', 'Hunters', 'Newfoundland', 'Hunting Accommodations', 'Hunting Tours' , 'Newfoundland Tours' and so on. The more often this can be done to each page throughout the site, the better preference on the search engines the site will be given for targeted keywords.
